our approach to strength & conditioning focuses on four key areas

The Strength and Conditioning program offers movement sessions that focus on straight-ahead-speed (SAS) and lateral speed and agility (LSA), as well as strength sessions. Student Athletes advance in the movement and strength progressions on their own individual time frame.

ATHLETIC FACILITIES SPOTLIGHT
ANDREWS STRENGTH & CONDITIONING CENTER
The Andrews Strength and Conditioning Center is a state-of-the-art center designed to enhance physical education of students in all grades—from junior kindergarteners learning coordination to varsity football players preparing for a Friday night game. The first floor includes eight fully-equipped strength stations featuring Legend Fitness racks with benches, 90 lb. PowerBlock dumbbells, and 6, 8 and 10 lb. medicine balls and bands. There are also sixteen 45-lb. lifting bars and four 25-lb. lifting bars, eight kettle bell handles, four sets of plyo boxes, and ten sets of Jungle Gym XT suspension trainers. The second floor features four spin cycles, two treadmills, and two rowing machines for rehabilitation, conditioning, and low-impact cardio work.
